December 2016 Winter Activities

December, the final hurrah of 2016! Although it is sad to say goodbye to another year, it helps that we end 2016 with hot chocolate, snow, ugly Christmas sweaters and caroling! For the students at KGIC Vancouver, it has been an exciting month of Christmas merriment and holly jolly cheer!

Vancouver was made all the more magical by the unusual snow fall we experienced this winter. Instead of Raincouver, students learned the value of a warm hat, thick mittens and the joy of multiple layers!! An important lesson to grasp before we explored Canyon Lights at Capilano Suspension Bridge. It was the perfect night to venture over to the north shore- cool, clear, no crowds! A winning combination! Students were dazzled by the abundance of lights, no surface was left untouched! After exploring the bridge, the treetop adventures and the cliffwalk, we headed to the gift shop for a delicious piece of sweet, sugary fudge. For many of the students, this was their first time trying such a treat. Judging by the smiles on their faces, it was a huge success!

We have many more Christmas filled activities to look forward to this month including the Enchant light maze and market, gingerbread house making and the German Christmas market ( just to name a few!) It’s an exciting time to be a KGIC student in Vancouver! Check out Activity Calendars for KGIC Vancouver, KGIC Victoria , KGIC Toronto and KGIC Surrey
