My KGIC Story: Barbara, from Spain

Hi! I’m Barbara, a Spanish girl who spent a month studying at KGIC and enjoying life in Halifax.

KGIC is a good option, they were very kind from the first moment. The Principal, teachers and secretaries were very helpful at all times, all of them made my time in Halifax very pleasant.

KGIC Halifax is located in a very nice area, so close to the waterfront you can even see the boats from the school windows. Having a walk from the school building you can reach lovely shops and bars.

KGIC has everything you need, different levels and courses depending on your needs, a lab room, and lunch area where you can meet and talk to students from different parts of the world. Lunch time is always a good opportunity to make new friends. Halifax is in the East coast of Canada, you can enjoy the Atlantic Ocean in many different ways: boat trips, beaches, canoeing, activities by the sea, exploring the waterfront where you can find entertainment whether day or night, and do not forget to eat lobster!

There are many places you can visit renting a car or signing up for the school activities such as Peggy’s Cove, Prince Edward Island, the Hope Mountains and a very beautiful coast line that invites you to stop and enjoy the views or swim if the North Atlantic water is not very cold for you!

Enjoy Halifax!!!!!
